About The Position
Growing national firm is seeking a Municipal Engineer for their Chicago office! Projects include treatment plans, tanks, pump/booster stations, and water storage/conveyance system infrastructure.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering
- 7+ years of experience in municipal water treatment systems
- PE registration
- Experience with water treatment, water quality, and regulatory compliance
- Active participation in professional organizations
Responsibilities
- Provide technical guidance/leadership on municipal drinking water projects
- Create detailed master plans, designs, plans/specifications and estimates
- Project management
- Assist with business development
- Assist with proposal completion and client interviews
- Deliver quality work on time and within budget
- Keep current on regulatory issues in industry and update team
- Lead/mentor junior staff
