About The Position
A multi-disciplined consulting firm with an established office is looking to add a talented Senior Municipal Engineer/Project Manager to their Madison, Wisconsin team. This role involves managing municipal infrastructure projects from planning through completion, including client relations and mentoring junior staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
- 5+ years of public works experience
- PE License
- Experience in client and project management
- Must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship
Nice To Haves
- Extensive knowledge of regulations/requirements
- Experience with funding and grants available to municipalities
Responsibilities
- Project management duties (project planning, scoping, budgeting, and QA/QC)
- Prepare details, specifications, and bidding documents
- Assume client relations duties such as attending council meetings with clients
- Design municipal infrastructure projects
- Mentor junior staff
- Prepare technical reports and regulatory permits
