About The Position

This is a seasonal full-time position where the worker will be responsible for supporting daily operations with a wide range of tasks such as cleaning, food preparation, serving meals, and dishwashing. The role involves performing housekeeping duties, assisting with food services, and adhering to health and safety guidelines.

Requirements

• Must have a valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Good command of English language, both verbal and written and ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Nice To Haves

• Previous housekeeping and food services experience is an asset
• Previous experience in the healthcare environment or long-term care setting is preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform housekeeping duties such as maintaining the cleanliness of residents’ rooms and common areas.
• Assist with food preparation, set up and cleanup of chairs & tables, serving meals, delivering trays to residents, dishwashing and maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen.
• Perform duties according to health & safety guidelines, report all injuries and hazards to the supervisor immediately and other reasonable requests from management.
