About The Position

This role supports daily operations through a variety of tasks including cleaning, food preparation, serving meals, dishwashing, and performing housekeeping duties. The Multiskilled Worker will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of resident rooms and common areas, assisting with food preparation and kitchen cleanup, and serving meals. Adherence to health and safety guidelines and reporting of any injuries or hazards are crucial.

Requirements

• Must have a valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good command of English language, both verbal and written and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to lift between 25 to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Previous housekeeping and food services experience is an asset.
• Previous experience in a hotel, healthcare or a camp setting is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Perform housekeeping duties such as maintaining the cleanliness of resident rooms and common areas.
• Assist with food preparation, set up and cleanup of chairs & tables, serving meals, delivering trays to residents, dishwashing and maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen.
• Perform duties according to health & safety guidelines, report all injuries and hazards to the supervisor immediately and other reasonable requests from management.
