About The Position
Baptist Health is seeking a Multi-Modality Technologist for its Diagnostic Imaging department at Baptist ED North. This is a PRN opportunity, involving work in both CT and MRI. The technologist will perform diagnostic exams, handle clerical duties like record-keeping, and ensure high-quality imaging while prioritizing patient safety and comfort. The role requires competence in at least two diagnostic imaging modalities, including Radiology plus CT, Interventional Procedures, Mammography, or MRI, with a commitment to working in each area. Requirements
- Trained and competent in two or more diagnostic imaging modalities.
- Competence must include Radiology plus CT, or Interventional Procedures, or Mammography, or MRI.
- Must agree to work part of scheduled hours in each area of competence.
- Must be compliant with mandatory education and health requirements.
- Requires a level II Background check (fingerprint-based screening).
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic exams at a technical level in two or more specialties (Radiology plus CT, Interventional Procedures, Mammography, or MRI).
- Perform clerical duties, including record-keeping.
- Ensure high-quality imaging is performed.
- Maintain patient safety and comfort.
- Be compliant with mandatory education and health requirements.
- Participate in taking calls for either or both areas as required.
