Multimodality Technologist (Mammo/X-Ray, Casual Call)
About The Position
Emplify Health by Gundersen is seeking a compassionate and skilled Multimodality Technologist to join their Decorah and Prairie Du Chein team! This role involves performing mammography and X-ray exams, operating exam equipment, and providing patient-centered care. The technologist will educate and support patients and their families, safely operate imaging equipment following established protocols, and ensure patient and radiation safety. Key responsibilities include producing accurate, high-quality images for diagnosis and treatment, and maintaining compliance through quality control, documentation, confidentiality, and ongoing learning.
Requirements
- X-ray and mammography experience is required
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
- Wisconsin Licensed Radiographer (LICRAD-WI) and ARRT Registered Technologist – Radiography required
- One year of clinical experience in a radiologic technology program required
- ARRT-M within 9 months of hire required
- Permit to Practice from the Iowa Department of Public Health (RADTECH-IA) needed
- Current Infant–Adult BLS (AHA or Red Cross)

Responsibilities
