About The Position

Performs CT scan and radiographic exams. Produces computerized tomographic scanner radiographs of designated anatomical areas as directed, according to established practices and procedures. Obtains patient history, explains routine procedures and addresses patient concerns. Hours: Wednesday-Friday 6:30a-7p with on-call rotation.

Requirements

  • Must have satisfactorily completed an AMA approved school of radiological technology and be registered by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists and licensed by SC Radiation Quality Standards Association.
  • One year of experience as a registered Radiological Technologist and Computed Tomography.
  • Certification is required in modality area post radiology certification.
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • At least 2 years of multi-modality experience.
  • Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), ARRT Advanced Modality Registration, and licensed by the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association (SCRQSA).
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required.
  • Fully competent in advanced modality skill sets and flexible to rotate.

  • Ability to exert up to 50 lbs. of force. (Frequent)
  • Ability to maintain 20/40 vision, corrected, in one eye or with both eyes. (Continuous)
  • Ability to see and recognize objects close at hand or at a distance. (Continuous)

  • Ability to determine distance/relationship between objects; depth perception. (Continuous)
