Multimodality Diagnostic Sonographer - PRN
About The Position
Bartlett Regional Hospital is searching for a Multimodality Diagnostic Sonographer to join our Ultrasound Team in the Diagnostic Imaging department. This is a PRN position. The Diagnostic Sonographer 3 is an advanced-level technologist competent in multiple modalities and capable of providing technical guidance, training, and quality oversight. This role functions with minimal supervision and serves as a resource for other staff. The Diagnostic Sonographer 4 is an expert-level sonographer with advanced competency in cardiac and vascular imaging and recognized as a clinical leader in the department. This position acts as the supervisor in their absence.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited sonography program.
- One (1) Year Ultrasound experience (Diagnostic Sonographer 3).
- Three (3) Year’s Ultrasound experience (Diagnostic Sonographer 4).
- ARDMS certification.
- BLS certification.
- Registered in adult echo or two non-cardiac specialties and competent in vascular.
- Produce a negative drug screen for all illegal substances in the State of Alaska prior to the start of employment.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical guidance, training, and quality oversight (Diagnostic Sonographer 3).
- Serve as a resource for other staff (Diagnostic Sonographer 3).
- Act as the supervisor in the absence of the supervisor (Diagnostic Sonographer 4).
