About The Position

The W.A. Franke Honors College is seeking a Multimedia Production Specialist/Coordinator to support podcasting, video editing, and content creation for social media and events. The ideal candidate will have some experience working in podcast production, audio/video editing, and/or graphic design, and will be excited to work in a collaborative environment on a wide range of projects.

Requirements

Some experience in podcast production and audio editing.
Experience creating content (graphics, photos, and/or video) for social media.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through experience required.
1 year of relevant work experience is required.

Responsibilities

Work with lead podcast producer to record, edit, and prepare podcast episodes for publication.
Edit and maintain audio quality, file formatting, and uploading to hosting platforms.
Schedule releases and coordinate episode distribution across Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and other platforms.
Maintain podcast metadata, descriptions, and episode information.
Work with content strategist to develop and execute promotional strategies for podcast episodes.
Create social media content to drive podcast listenership.
Track analytics and engagement metrics across distribution platforms.
Coordinate with content strategist on promotional timing and messaging.
Design podcast cover art, episode graphics, and promotional materials.
Create social media graphics to support marketing initiatives.
Develop visual content for website and email promotion.
Ensure brand consistency across all visual materials using university guidelines.
Capture video content for behind-the-scenes podcast promotion.
Create short-form video clips from podcast episodes for social media.
Assist with event photography and videography for Franke Honors initiatives as needed.
Edit and optimize video for various platforms and audiences.
