Join the Future of Advertising: Multimedia Marketing Consultant (Reno, NV). At CUMULUS MEDIA | Reno, we don’t just sell radio spots; we architect growth for Northern Nevada businesses. We are looking for a high-energy Multimedia Marketing Consultant who understands that the most effective campaigns aren’t found in a single medium—they are built at the intersection of powerful audio storytelling and precision-targeted digital strategy. You are a strategic partner for the local business community. You won’t be pushing out products; you will be identifying business challenges and crafting multi-platform solutions. Sometimes the answer is the massive reach of our four iconic stations—KBUL 98.1 The Bull, KKOH 780 News/Talk, KNEV The Vibe 95.5, and KWYL Wild 102.9. Other times, it’s a hyper-targeted digital campaign. Often, it’s the perfect, high-impact combination of both.

Requirements

  • 1–3+ years of successful experience in media sales. You know what it takes to thrive in an outside sales environment.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools, Microsoft Office, and active, working knowledge of social advertising platforms.
  • A solid understanding of sales metrics, lead generation, and how to maintain a healthy, active sales funnel.
  • Exceptional presentation skills. You love being in front of clients, whether you're pitching a new strategy or reviewing the success of a recent campaign.
  • A "Client-First" Mindset: You are fluent in the modern digital stack. You understand how to leverage Google Ads (SEM/Display), Social Media Marketing, and advanced Meta advertising (Facebook & Instagram) to drive measurable ROI.
  • Media Fluency: You have a firm grasp of the media landscape. You know how to bridge the gap between traditional radio brand-building power and the conversion-focused capabilities of digital media.
  • Consultative Approach: You enjoy the "detective work" of sales—uncovering client goals, analyzing market trends, and presenting solutions that impact the client's business and their bottom line.
  • Growth Orientation: You possess an entrepreneurial spirit and the discipline to manage a robust sales pipeline, from prospecting and cold calling to closing long-term partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Design Integrated Strategies: Develop and present comprehensive marketing plans that utilize Cumulus’ full suite of assets—including broadcast, streaming, events, and our robust digital marketing services.
  • Drive Digital Results: Act as a subject matter expert for clients, managing expectations and results for Google Ads, social platforms, and integrated digital initiatives.
  • Build Lasting Partnerships: Manage a portfolio of local and regional accounts, acting as their primary marketing consultant to foster long-term loyalty.
  • Collaborate & Create: Work with our production and digital teams to craft creative messaging that resonates across every platform, ensuring a unified brand voice for your clients.
