About The Position
WSTM/WSTQ/WTVH is looking for an Multi-Media Journalist (MMJ). This role involves reporting, shooting, and editing news stories, developing story ideas, cultivating contacts, and other assigned duties. The MMJ will be responsible for producing daily content across multiple platforms, including the internet, social media, and mobile devices, in addition to television broadcasts.
Requirements
- Sharp news judgment
- The ability to tell an NPPA style story
- Excellent technical skills
- The ability to work well independently
- Must have and maintain a valid license and a good driving record
- Experience with live shots is required
Nice To Haves
- A minimum of 1-3 years reporting experience is preferred
- Experience with Live-U is a plus
