The Roy Howard Community Journalism Center (RHCJC) is seeking motivated college students for a paid Multimedia Journalism Internship. This hands-on opportunity provides real-world experience in reporting, photography, videography, digital storytelling, social media, and audience engagement while serving communities across Southeast Mississippi. Interns will work alongside professional journalists to create impactful multimedia content, support community engagement initiatives, and gain practical newsroom experience in a collaborative environment. This internship is open to students currently enrolled at colleges and universities outside the University of Southern Mississippi who are interested in journalism, communication, media production, photography, videography, digital media, strategic communication, marketing, public relations, or related fields. Internship opportunities are available at our Hattiesburg, Long Beach, and Jackson locations.
