About The Position

JEA is accepting applications for its paid 2027 Internship Program. The Multimedia Internship provides students with hands-on experience working alongside industry professionals and an opportunity to develop leadership, professional communication, and presentation skills while building a professional network. The intern will learn how social media supports organizational communication, branding, and engagement. Projects may involve social media copywriting, video production, graphic design, photography, and digital storytelling, creating content for diverse audiences in a professional environment.

Requirements

Be a rising sophomore, junior, or senior.
Be enrolled in a preferred bachelor's degree program: Digital Media, Multimedia Communications, or Journalism with a focus on media.
Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0.
Submit a transcript with the application to verify GPA eligibility.
Be available to work 32 hours per week during the internship period.

Responsibilities

Work on social media projects, with a focus on copywriting, video production, graphic design, photography, and digital storytelling.
Create content that supports organizational communication, branding, and audience engagement.
Work alongside industry professionals on meaningful multimedia projects.
