Plans, coordinates, produces, and directs live and recorded multimedia productions supporting NSF OLPA communications. Transforms strategic communications goals and complex science topics into compelling video and multimedia products. Leads pre-production activities, including concept development, formats, scripts/treatments (in coordination with writers), schedules, and resource planning. Directs and executes field and studio productions, including camera operation, lighting, audio, talent direction, and livestream events. Performs post-production editing using Adobe Premiere Pro; integrates graphics, animations, sound, and captions. Creates graphics and animations using Photoshop and After Effects; supports 3D elements as needed. Prepares final media files for distribution and publishing, including metadata, captions, and platform-specific formats. Posts content to NSF and non-NSF platforms; coordinates distribution and notifications as required. Ensures compliance with NSF branding, Section 508 accessibility (captioning, audio descriptions as applicable), and federal standards. Uses digital asset management systems to archive media and permissions; supports internal/external media requests.
