Multimedia Content Development Develop multimedia content including videos, animations, graphics, and digital media products that support NSF communications initiatives. Translate scientific research findings into engaging multimedia storytelling formats. Video Production Support planning and execution of video productions including interviews, educational programs, documentaries, and outreach content. Operate cameras and production equipment during video shoots when required. Assist with directing and coordinating on-location or studio productions. Video Editing and Post-Production Edit video content using professional editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro . Develop complex video productions including multiple layers of graphics, animations, and effects. Perform color correction, sound mixing, and post-production finishing. Motion Graphics and Animation Create graphics, visual effects, and animations using tools such as Adobe After Effects and Adobe Photoshop . Develop animated elements that enhance video storytelling and visual explanations of scientific concepts. Audio Production Edit and mix audio tracks including narration, interviews, music, and sound effects. Assist with production of audio programs and podcast content when required. Script Interpretation and Storyboarding Collaborate with writers and communications teams to interpret scripts and storyboards. Translate narrative concepts into visual production plans. Multimedia Distribution Prepare video and multimedia files for distribution across digital platforms. Publish multimedia content on websites, digital platforms, and media channels. Manage metadata, captions, and accessibility requirements for multimedia files. Media Asset Management Maintain organized multimedia files, archives, and asset libraries. Manage digital storage systems and ensure proper archiving of multimedia content. Cross-Team Collaboration Work closely with writers, editors, designers, and scientists to produce accurate and compelling multimedia content. Coordinate with communications teams to ensure multimedia products align with messaging strategies.
