About The Position

Curio is a leading education services and advisory company, working with universities, vocational education providers, schools and companies to drive change through learning. We lead the online learning transformation of many of our clients and partners through a focus on the creation and delivery of exceptional learning experiences. Our business practice stretches across Australia, Asia, the United Kingdom and North America. This role is a remote contract opportunity. Curio is building its talent pool in Southeast Asia for future contract opportunities. This role is not guaranteed full-time work, but contract opportunities for multiple clients over a period of time (short-term and long-term) may be offered. Suitable candidates will be recruited and onboarded into a 'talent pool' for quick engagement when opportunities arise.

Requirements

  • Diploma or degree in multimedia design, digital media, film and television, or a related discipline, with 1–3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects for video editing and motion graphics production.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce motion graphics and motion design assets to a professional standard.
  • Solid video production skills: shooting, editing, colour grading, audio mixing, and multi-format export.
  • Experience producing eLearning multimedia assets, with familiarity with Articulate Rise or Storyline.
  • Strong understanding of visual storytelling — how motion, pacing, sound, and graphic elements work together.
  • Able to manage multiple concurrent productions and deliver reliably to deadlines.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills in English.

Nice To Haves

  • Confident working in Articulate Rise and Storyline — able to build and adapt interactive visual assets directly within these tools.
  • Proficient with Synthesia for AI video production and ElevenLabs for AI voice and audio.
  • Strong AI fluency — actively integrates AI tools into multimedia workflows and keeps pace with emerging capabilities.
  • Experience with Adobe Audition or equivalent for dedicated audio post-production.
  • Familiarity with accessible media standards, including captions, audio descriptions, and WCAG 2.1 AA requirements for multimedia content.
  • Experience working in a higher education, professional learning, or professional services context.

Responsibilities

  • Produce motion graphics and motion design assets for learning content, marketing campaigns, and client deliverables.
  • Create kinetic typography, animated explainers, and branded motion sequences for digital channels.
  • Design and produce title sequences, transitions, and visual effects to support video productions.
  • Produce and edit video content for client learning projects, marketing campaigns, and internal use.
  • Manage the full video production workflow: footage organisation, editing, colour grading, audio mixing, and export for multiple formats and platforms.
  • Create screen-capture and talking-head videos, including recording setup, editing, and post-production.
  • Produce AI-generated video content using tools such as Synthesia, including scripting visual layouts and managing avatar-based production.
  • Design and produce visual and interactive assets for eLearning courses built in Articulate Rise and Storyline.
  • Create rich media elements — including embedded video, interactive overlays, and branching scenario visuals — that integrate cleanly into course builds.
  • Work closely with Learning Designers to ensure motion and multimedia assets support learning outcomes and meet accessibility standards.
  • Produce AI voice and audio content using tools such as ElevenLabs, including voice selection, scripting, and audio post-production.
  • Integrate AI production tools confidently and efficiently into standard multimedia workflows.
  • Stay current with emerging AI capabilities in video, audio, and motion design — and bring relevant tools to the team's attention.
  • Maintain accurate and organised project files, footage libraries, and export archives on the company shared drive.
  • Incorporate stakeholder feedback into revisions accurately and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with the Graphic Designer, Learning Designers, and clients to ensure multimedia output is visually consistent and on-brand.
