About The Position

Under general supervision, the Multimedia Content Manager serves as the City’s lead multimedia producer, creating compelling visual content that informs, educates, and engages residents. This position is responsible for professional videography, photography, drone operations, podcast production, and multimedia storytelling that supports City communications across digital platforms, social media, websites, presentations, and other communication channels. Working closely with the Communications Director, Media Relations Manager, and Digital Communications Manager, the Multimedia Content Manager develops creative assets from concept through production while documenting City operations, projects, events, and community initiatives. Availability outside normal business hours is required to support meetings, special events, emergency communications, and other City activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university and three (3) years of experience in a job related field; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Pass a criminal background check (including driving history).
  • Pass a pre-employment physical.

Nice To Haves

  • Adobe Creative Suite Premiere Pro, Photoshop, After Effects, Lightroom, or Audition.
  • Experience with professional camera systems, lighting, audio production.
  • FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate.
