LINK Media is seeking an Advertising Account Executive to sell print, digital, social, and event sponsorships across two publications: LINK nky (covering Boone, Kenton, and Campbell counties) and Cincinnati CityBeat (the region's arts and culture alt-weekly). This role is for someone who finds building something fast and collaboratively energizing. The company emphasizes that every hire is a critical team member, and no one is bigger than the mission.

Requirements

B2B sales experience or formal sales training.
Proposal creation experience.
Creativity, particularly in finding packages where a rate card doesn't apply.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Comfort with a CRM and the discipline to keep it updated.
A driver's license and a car.
No degree required, but a business or marketing degree is a plus.
Must not be a jerk; honest and ethical treatment is paramount.

Responsibilities

Sell print, digital, social, and event sponsorships across LINK nky and Cincinnati CityBeat.
Make calls and hold meetings daily to close business.
Network across NKY and Cincinnati to find new prospects.
Communicate clearly with production and accounting to ensure sold products run on time and are invoiced correctly.
Provide consultative service to advertisers and sponsors to encourage renewals.
Bring creative ideas for sponsorship packages for content areas and events.
Treat teammates, advertisers, and sponsors with honesty and ethical consideration.
