King and Queen County, Virginia is accepting applications for the full-time position of Multifunction Coordinator. This position is a member of the Human Resources Team and reports to the Director of Human Resources. A Multifunction Coordinator is a versatile administrative role responsible for managing and coordinating multiple functions across different departments within the County, often handling tasks related to operations logistics, events, project management, and administrative support. The employee in this role will also serve as the Deputy Registrar providing support, office coverage, and assistance with all matters related to the election process including preparation for elections, during elections, and post-election work. This position requires strong organizational skills, adaptability, and the ability to juggle diverse responsibilities simultaneously. The Multifunction Coordinator position requires considerable flexibility, adaptability, and the capacity to work in various Departments with multiple Directors, the County Administrator, and Constitutional Officers throughout the County. While the majority of the tasks are administrative and are performed indoors in an office setting, some projects and events may require working outdoors, and lifting, pushing, pulling up to 25 pounds. Some projects require extended periods of sitting and working on tasks that require computer skills and prolonged periods of concentration on projects and assignments to meet deadlines. This position requires face to face interaction and phone contact with customers on a regular basis.
