Multifamily Capital Markets Securitization and Structuring Analyst
About The Position
Freddie Mac Multifamily is seeking an analytical professional to join its fast-paced and highly talented Multifamily Capital Markets Securitization team. This role is ideal for someone interested in being intellectually challenged, helping create and preserve housing, and who is a team player. Freddie Mac Multifamily purchases apartment loans nationwide from lenders and securitizes them through various offerings, including K-Deals, Multi-PCs, ML-Deals, and M-Deals. Securitization allows Freddie Mac to transfer risk to third parties, making it an active issuer of high-grade multifamily securities with transparency in collateral and deal information.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or and/or equivalent experience
- 0 - 1 year of relevant experience
- Ability to work in a dynamic business environment and manage multiple tasks and work independently and in groups
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
- Expertise in Microsoft Excel
Nice To Haves
- Experience with VBA, Python, Tableau, and/or SQL preferred
- Knowledge in Equity or CMBS markets preferred
- Curiosity and interest in the commercial real estate industry
- Team player with positive attitude
- Strong work ethic

Responsibilities
- Perform deal due diligence including deal tie-out and legal document review
- Support the securitization of multifamily loans and deal analytics to optimize executions and maintain risk adjust returns
- Modeling commercial mortgage-backed securities using Intex
- Prepare weekly P&L report and provide ad hoc analysis
- Understand the Risk-Based Capital Framework
- Develop and maintain deal transaction databases, queries and reports that supports the deal marketing and execution
