Multicraft Maintenance Mechanic
About The Position
Join us as a Multi-Craft Maintenance Mechanic in our Zanesville plant and be a part of a world-class Reliability team! You'll collaborate with an upbeat, hard-working, and diverse team to keep our plant running smoothly, and continuously improve our machinery and maintenance department. This is an Overnight Shift position, 5pm-5am working on a 2-2-3 12-hour schedule with every other weekend off. The position starts at a rate of $37.17 with shift differential. On our Reliability team, you will have the opportunity to work on electrical systems, pneumatic equipment, hydraulic machinery, and even fabrication tasks. You will collaborate closely with other team members - together, we keep our production lines running efficiently. Requirements
- Effective communication, basic computer software knowledge, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Sitting, standing, walking, lifting (50lbs), and/or repetitive tasks throughout the day
- Previous experience as a mechanic in a food manufacturing setting
- Experience in troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance on packaging and processing equipment
- Skills working with electronic controls, PLC’s, VFD’s, Servo Motors,
- Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Previous metal fabrication and/or machining experience
- Permanent legal authorization to work in the United States
Responsibilities
- Managing machine performance by responding to equipment breakdowns, electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, finding-fixing defects, and conducting Break Down Elimination on failures.
- Equipment inspections, lubrication, oil analysis, IR Electrical imaging, Ultra-sonic testing, Motor Amp readings, temperature measurements and time based rebuilds.
- Understanding, following, and enforcing all established safety, health, and quality procedures to drive forward production.
- Establishing rapport with business partners across the plant floor to solve problems with a strong sense of urgency with a common goal.
