About The Position

Performs general diagnostic examinations as well as functioning in minimum of one additional specialty area., (Student-Site Coordinator, Quality/Education). Performs a variety of duties in preparing neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients for the technical component of scans and treatments of particular organs to furnish diagnostic information. Operates Imaging equipment to produce the scans. Provides support and training assistance as well as functioning in all aspects of position. Assists the Lead and Department in maintenance of equipment and QA/QC program(s) for meeting regulatory and accreditation and re-accreditation. Serves as department liaison.

Requirements

  • Completion of an Accredited Radiology Technology Program
  • ARRT - Radiography - American Register of Radiologic Technologists
  • CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist
  • CT-Computed Tomography within 1 Year of hire
  • RHF-Radiology Fluoroscopy within 1 Year of hire
  • BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
  • RHM-Radiology Mammography, where applicable
  • JCERT approval for Student Site Coordinator.
  • IV Certification, where applicable
