About The Position

The Coding Specialist performs all medical record coding activities. Assigns appropriate diagnostic codes to patient charts and reports as assigned. This role involves coding surgeries directly, using PMD, pulling up auto notes and filling out work, with an expectation of 13-15 cases an hour.
