As we continue to expand, we are seeking a motivated and organized Multi-Skilled Tradesman to join our team! This position is responsible for performing a variety of construction, maintenance, and repair tasks across multiple trades. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, takes pride in quality workmanship, and can work independently while maintaining a safe and professional job site.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience in construction or multiple skilled trades.
  • Working knowledge of carpentry, drywall, painting, flooring, plumbing, and basic electrical.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve construction and maintenance issues.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physical work in various weather conditions.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Previous experience in general maintenance or multi-trade work
  • Practical knowledge of construction techniques and safe work practices
  • Competent with hand and power tools
  • Ability to follow instructions and adapt to a variety of tasks
  • Reliable transportation to travel between multiple job sites
  • Must supply and maintain basic hand tools
  • Must successfully pass a criminal background check
  • Must pass a motor vehicle record (MVR)
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screening

Responsibilities

  • Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment across residential sites
  • Perform general construction, repair, and maintenance work.
  • Complete carpentry projects, including framing, trim, doors, cabinetry, and drywall repairs.
  • Perform basic plumbing repairs and fixture installations.
  • Complete minor electrical work, including replacing switches, outlets, lighting fixtures.
  • Install flooring, tile, and finish materials as needed.
  • Paint, patch, texture, and complete finish work.
  • Perform demolition and site preparation.
  • Read blueprints, work orders, and project specifications.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Communicate project progress and identify material or repair needs.
  • Ensure all work meets company quality standards and applicable building codes.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations, including correct use of PPE and site signage
  • Follow instructions and work schedules set by the foreman or project manager
  • Ensure work is completed to a high standard with minimal disruption to residents
  • Maintain a professional, flexible approach and adapt to varying tasks and project needs
