About The Position

7-Eleven is seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician I to join their team. This role is responsible for ensuring stores run smoothly, from maintaining Slurpee machines to tackling large projects and upgrades. The technician will complete special project work such as POS upgrades/installations and fuel dispenser upgrades. They will also assist markets that are short-staffed on IHM technicians by working on a strike team to handle service calls. The role involves managing parts inventory, completing daily reports, training other technicians, prioritizing work, and performing basic maintenance on structures.

Requirements

The ability to travel 50% of the time or greater to assigned sites across the United States
Follow the assigned work schedule
High School Diploma or GED preferred
1+ years in general repairs and maintenance
Valid Driver’s License (with real ID or equivalent for air travel)
Show leadership
Peer-to-peer tech support
Effective communication
Handle stretch assignments
Facility location ownership
Time management

Responsibilities

Completes special project work (POS upgrades/installations, Fuel dispenser upgrades, along with other projects)
In the event a market is short staffed on IHM technician, work on a strike team to assist that market with service calls
Handles orders related to plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance issues
Manage parts inventory and complete daily reports to ensure efficiency
Training other level I technicians
Prioritizing work
Basic maintenance on structures
