About The Position

7-Eleven is seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician III to join their team and help keep their stores running smoothly. This role involves ensuring equipment like Slurpee machines are functioning correctly and addressing in-store maintenance challenges. The technician will respond to service requests for minor repairs to various in-store equipment, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance issues. They will also complete preventative and basic maintenance tasks on structures and equipment, calibrate pumps and dispensers, and recommend when outside contractors are needed. The role includes managing parts inventory, completing daily reports, and potentially filling in for the Area Facilities Manager, training less experienced technicians, prioritizing work, and attending training.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED preferred
5+ years in general repairs and maintenance
Valid Driver’s License
Requires more than one certification by a manufacturer/government agency
Advanced troubleshooting skills
Ability to lead team
Ability to provide peer-to-peer tech support
Ability to work independently
Effective communication skills
Ability to handle stretch assignments
Facility location ownership

Responsibilities

Respond to service requests for minor repairs to a wide variety of in-store equipment (such as beverage & food equipment, ice makers, & fuel dispensers)
Respond to service requests for plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance issues
Complete preventative and basic maintenance tasks on structures and other equipment
Calibrate pumps, dispensers and other equipment in accordance with legal standards
Recommend when an outside contractor is required
Manage parts inventory and complete daily reports to ensure efficiency
Fill in for Area Facilities Manager as needed
Train less experienced technicians
Prioritize work
Attend training
Perform basic maintenance on structures
