About The Position

As a Multi-Skilled Technician, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: Laying out, facilitating, planning, and documenting the installation, maintenance, repair, replacement, modification, troubleshooting, diagnosing, programming, optimization, and design of existing and new manufacturing equipment. Maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment components and pumps. Installing/upgrading, and calibrating equipment. Performing preventive maintenance and housekeeping tasks. Completing shop records and use reporting systems following established procedures.

Requirements

  • Possess or be within six (6) months of obtaining a two (2) year technical degree/diploma in a maintenance field
  • Six (6) or more months of PLC troubleshooting/programming experience
  • Interested and available to work weekends, overtime, holidays as needed, and short notice shift coverage.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Nice To Haves

  • Strong multi-skill aptitude in a manufacturing environment.
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving ability in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working with Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs), Analog and digital AC/DC drive systems, and/or Calibrations/metrology.
  • Experience working with mechanical systems: bearings, gearboxes, pumps, and pneumatic/hydraulic
  • Experience working with the following electrical diagrams: PLC logic, process flow diagrams, instrument flow diagrams and/or P&ID drawings
  • Experience working with electrical tools, test equipment and instruments used in industrial plant applications

Responsibilities

  • Laying out, facilitating, planning, and documenting the installation, maintenance, repair, replacement, modification, troubleshooting, diagnosing, programming, optimization, and design of existing and new manufacturing equipment.
  • Maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment components and pumps.
  • Installing/upgrading, and calibrating equipment.
  • Performing preventive maintenance and housekeeping tasks.
  • Completing shop records and use reporting systems following established procedures.
  • Complying with corporate policies, procedures and security standards while performing assigned duties.
  • Contributing to a strong Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) culture by following safety policies, identifying hazards, and engaging in continuous improvement.
