Requirements

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Current/valid driver’s license
  • 1 or more years’ experience in mechanical maintenance, equipment operation, or inspection
  • Able to perform the physical demands and work environment requirements of the position, as described in the job description, with or without reasonable accommodation

Nice To Haves

  • 1 or more years’ experience in oil and gas production or health, safety, and environmental (HSE) roles
  • Associate’s degree or trade certification in Production Technology or a related field.
  • Computer and data entry skills
  • Responsive to visual and auditory signals, alarms, and instructions

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily field operations across assigned wells and facilities in Southeast New Mexico, monitoring equipment and production performance to ensure safe, reliable flow and timely response to operational needs
  • Inspect tanks, meters, separators, compressors, and pipelines to identify and prevent leaks or operational issues
  • Gauge tanks to measure crude oil and water levels for safe and efficient transfers
  • Operate and troubleshoot compressors, gas lift wells, sand traps, and flowback equipment
  • Maintain chemical injection rates and execute well start-up/shut-in procedures
  • Enter and validate production data in digital systems to support accurate reporting and decision-making
  • Participate in facility walk-throughs, safety reviews, and regulatory documentation
  • Update piping and instrument diagrams (P&IDs) and site security documentation
  • Respond to alarms and fulfill on-call duties to minimize downtime and resolve field issues
  • Apply all safety, environmental, and company policies to protect personnel, assets, and the environment
