About The Position

The Multi-Site Security Officer works across multiple locations in Battle Creek and the surrounding area, covering staffing shortages due to vacations, call-offs, illnesses, no-shows, and other absences. The role requires flexible availability for all shifts, including weekends and holidays, reliable transportation, and the ability to accept assignments on short notice. Security Officers help maintain a safe and secure environment by actively monitoring and patrolling client premises, observing and reporting activities and incidents, and enforcing site regulations and directives related to personnel, visitors, and the area. They help protect client property and personnel and may provide customer service and information to clients’ employees and customers. The position is available full-time or part-time. No prior security experience is necessary; training is provided. Applicants must pass a drug screen and background check and meet and continue to meet applicable security licensing requirements.

Requirements

Ability to work flexible schedules across multiple locations and all shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to multiple work locations in Battle Creek and the surrounding area.
Strong attendance record and dependable work ethic.
Ability to accept and respond to assignments on short notice.
Valid Michigan driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to work independently and adapt to changing environments.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency with computers and technology.
Excellent customer service skills.
Must pass a drug screen and background check.
Must be able to meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards.
Ability to sit, stand, and walk frequently for extended periods, including climbing stairs and walking on inclines and uneven terrain.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
