About The Position

This is an on-call, multi-site position covering 2nd and 3rd shifts. You will not have a set schedule, and work hours will vary based on operational needs. You will work at multiple sites in Hagerstown, MD, performing truck gate access control, observing, and assisting drivers with facility access and exit procedures.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old
Pass a background check and drug test
Valid driver’s license
High School Diploma or GED
Prior security experience
Minimum of 2 years of security experience, or prior law enforcement, corrections, or military experience
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Exceptional attention to detail
Maintain professionalism at all times
Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
Able to meet and maintain all applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements

Visible body piercings or visible tattoos are not permitted unless authorized

Responsibilities

Performing truck gate access control
Observing and assisting drivers with facility access and exit procedures
Standing and walking for extended periods of time
Meeting and maintaining all applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements
Communicating via radio
Frequent sitting, standing, and walking for long periods, including climbing stairs and walking on uneven terrain
Lifting/moving up to 25 pounds
