As a Multi-Site Porter / Groundskeeper, you play a key role in maintaining the overall appearance and cleanliness of the community. You’ll ensure the grounds, common areas, and amenities are clean, safe, and well-presented while supporting the maintenance team with day-to-day operations. This role is hands-on and fast-paced, combining physical work, attention to detail, and teamwork to create a community residents are proud to call home.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to operate basic tools and cleaning equipment
Nice To Haves
- Previous groundskeeping, janitorial, or maintenance experience a plus
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of grounds, parking areas, and property perimeters
- Sweep sidewalks, breezeways, and common walkways
- Maintain dumpster areas and support periodic power washing
- Assist with basic exterior upkeep including signage, lighting, and curb appeal
- Clean and maintain pool areas, furniture, and surrounding spaces
- Empty trash receptacles and maintain overall cleanliness of amenities
- Support upkeep of shared outdoor areas and equipment
- Maintain cleanliness of laundry rooms and shared interior spaces
- Keep common areas organized, clutter-free, and presentable
- Support overall property appearance standards
- Assist with trash-outs and preparation of vacant units
- Support maintenance technicians with assigned tasks
- Deliver notices, newsletters, and communications to residents
- Assist with special projects as needed
- Provide courteous and professional interactions with residents
- Promote a positive and welcoming community environment
- Represent the property with professionalism at all times
- Work collaboratively with maintenance and management teams
- Follow safety procedures and company standards
- Assist with additional duties and operational needs as assigned
