Multi-Site Maintenance Technician I - Alturas Penbrook
About The Position
As a Multi-Site Maintenance Technician I, you are the foundation of the maintenance team across your properties. You support property upkeep, complete routine repairs, and build essential trade skills that prepare you for advancement within multifamily maintenance. This role is responsible for property care and basic maintenance, including maintaining property grounds and common areas, completing routine service requests and make-ready tasks, performing paint touch-ups and minor repairs, and replacing basic hardware, fixtures, screens, and outlets. The position also involves operational support such as assisting with inspections and preventative maintenance, supporting seasonal preparation and storm response, and maintaining clean work and storage areas. Additionally, the technician will respond to on-call and emergency service requests, follow all company safety protocols, maintain a basic personal tool kit, and complete required training and compliance courses. This role may include additional duties consistent with the position.
Requirements
- 1+ year maintenance or porter experience (multifamily preferred).
- Beginner-level exposure to electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, or painting.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to safely operate hand and basic power tools to complete minor repairs.
- Understanding chemical safety procedures.
- Basic computer and mobile literacy and familiarity with work-order systems.
- Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Active participation in team functions and regional or company activities is expected.
