About The Position

Step onto the production floor where precision meets craft. As a Multi-Process Production Welder — Structural Fabrication, you’ll transform raw components into high‑quality parts, subassemblies, and finished products. You’ll run a variety of welds in multiple positions across diverse lines, keeping a sharp focus on accuracy, quality standards, and safety protocols. A Day in the Life You begin by reviewing blueprints and work instructions, setting machine parameters, and using an overhead crane to position heavy components. You tack, heat, form, and complete welds in flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions. Throughout the shift, you verify specs with precise measuring tools, then blend and finish each weld using grinders, wire wheels, and needle guns—all while maintaining 6S and safety practices. You’ll collaborate with teammates, cross-train in adjacent areas, and keep production moving with reliable attendance.

Requirements

  • Ability to wear a standard welding helmet for extended periods.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet production and business demands.
  • Regular and reliable in-person, on-site attendance.

Nice To Haves

  • Welding certification from an accredited institution.
  • 1+ year of welding experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Pass and maintain certification through the Welder Qualification Test.
  • Operate overhead cranes to safely position parts for welding.
  • Adjust machine settings to dial in proper weld configurations.
  • Clean and finish welds using grinders, wire wheels, and needle guns.
  • Heat, form, and weld metal components in flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions.
  • Use measuring tools accurately to ensure specification compliance.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and follow detailed verbal/written work instructions.
  • Assemble, position, secure, and weld metal parts with precision.
  • Cross-train and support multiple production areas as needed.
  • Maintain attention to detail and meet all quality standards.
  • Adhere to safety, cleanliness, and 6S procedures.
  • Contribute independently and as part of a team.
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
