About The Position

Under the supervision of the Clinical Supervisor of Breast Imaging, our technologists operate state-of-the-art scanners to deliver exceptional imaging for diagnostic and treatment purposes, while working in a collaborative, supportive, and innovative environment. Requirements

  • Associates Degree (or equivalent) in Radiologic Technology from an AMA approved school.
  • Massachusetts State licenses in Radiography and Mammography are required.
  • Currently certified with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in (R) and (M).
  • Certification in Breast Ultrasound either through the ARDMS or ARRT.
  • Credentials are ARRT (BS) or RDMS (BR) and required within one year of hire.
  • At least 1 year of experience as a registered mammographer.
  • At least 6 months of breast sonography required.
  • Knowledge of principles and procedures in both mammography and ultrasound and the operation and maintenance of Radiologic/Mammography and Ultrasound equipment.
  • Knowledge of bone density equipment.
  • Extensive knowledge of breast anatomy and pathology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills sufficient to interact effectively with patients and co-workers, to train students and staff mammographers.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills.
