The primary responsibility of a multi-modality technologist performs any 2 combination of procedures with related techniques, producing images for the interpretation by, and at the request of, a licensed independent practitioner. This role involves operating equipment, understanding workflows, and ensuring patient safety across two imaging modalities. The technologist will obtain patient history, verify patient identification, and apply safety principles to minimize risks. Depending on the modality, responsibilities may include performing venipuncture, administering medications/contrast, and using a power injector. The position also includes on-call duties as required.
