About The Position

A Multi-Modal Technologist will perform imaging procedures while adhering to established guidelines and assisting in the training of new technologists. The technologist will work under the supervision of the modality supervisory technologist and modality medical director. The role involves performing all technical procedures within the respective modality sections as described in the Radiology Policy Manual, meeting technical competency requirements, and maintaining effective working relationships with staff. The technologist will also participate in professional education programs, patient/staff safety initiatives, and quality assurance/improvement activities. This position contributes to the efficient operation of the department, ensuring quality and continuity of patient care, and may involve variation of modality assignment to meet patient volume needs.

Create and evaluate softcopy and hardcopy production as needed.
Ensure that all Federal, State, and local regulatory, accreditation, and organizational guidelines are met.
Ensure quality patient care by helping to establish an orderly, clean, caring, and professional environment.
Maintain departmental stocks and supplies.
Assist in managing an appropriate and fiscally responsible supply inventory.
Ensure that business and patient information is properly handled with proper measures dedicated to the maintenance of security and confidentiality.
