About The Position

The Herald-News is seeking individuals with an outgoing personality, a commitment to success, and a hunger to succeed for sales opportunities. The company offers a broad palette of solutions to help clients grow their business and will provide training on how to present these platforms. The role involves educating and selling multimedia products and services to an established client base and developing new customers. This includes conducting customer needs analyses, creating presentations and proposals for customized solutions, and utilizing traditional methods and social media for prospecting. The Multimedia Account Executive sells advertising space for print, a variety of digital products, and Print and Deliver Products for Adams MultiMedia, which is committed to superior customer service.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of sales experience in the print and multimedia industry
  • Reliable transportation required
  • Must maintain a current valid driver's license and current proof of vehicle liability insurance
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is required

Responsibilities

  • Perform job duties and conduct self in accordance with company core values
  • Initiate and nurture effective, professional relationships with internal and external contacts
  • Support and achieve individual, and company goals
  • Acquire, retain, and up-sell new and existing client base
  • Make collection calls
  • Attend departmental meetings and company meetings as scheduled
  • Maintain daily sales call log submitted to Advertising Manager daily
  • Corresponding through email, telephone, and meeting with clients
  • Utilize various Social Networking tools for company business
  • Learn and sell online products as they are introduced to the company
