About The Position

FOX 39 and WTVO are expanding their sales teams in Rockford, Ill. This position is for a consultative account executive who uses a multi-media strategy to help clients grow their business. The role involves negotiating with ad agencies, growing a transactional book of business through strategic pricing and account stewardship, and being responsible for order entry, contracts, follow-up, and collections. The ideal candidate will be strong at prospecting, growing account lists, and playing a role in the production of client's creative elements. They will also serve as an advocate for broadcast and digital products and programs, treating coworkers, prospects, and clients with a service-centric attitude.

Requirements

Broadcast sales experience is a must
Ability to hold meaningful conversations with decision makers
Ability to CLOSE
Demonstrates personal integrity
Know that that word “no” is an opportunity!
Proficient with popular social media and digital platforms
Make decisions without supervision
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including: Word, PowerPoint & Outlook
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
