About The Position

This position is responsible for representing Do it Best Group, and its policies, programs, and philosophies to its membership, and to utilize those policies, programs, and philosophies to meet the expectations of financial and physical growth of Do it Best Group and its Multi-Store members. The MLTM is responsible for driving member purchases through the Do it Best Group Retail Service Centers, and its approved vendor partners. This role requires significant travel, approximately 75% of the time, to various locations including Multi Location Member’s Corp offices, member’s individual stores, Do it Best Group Markets, and any other locations required in the execution of the responsibilities of this position as deemed appropriate by management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in sales/marketing/business or related experience
  • 5+ years of outside sales experience

Responsibilities

  • Assists members with growth plans including the acquisition of new locations and the conversion of these locations and purchases.
  • Assist members by suggesting new locations through programs like Retail Start or the expansion of locations using programs such as Retail Plus.
  • The MLTM will be the point person on all projects that their members work on.
  • Develops strong working relationships with the assigned Multi-Store members to gain the trust and integrity that will allow the MLTM to become a strong valued business partner and consultant with their assigned members.
  • To plan and execute when appropriate member visits by the Do it Best Group merchandising staff, LBM staff and others as well as vendor partners for the presentation of beneficial product and programs to their assigned Multi-Store members.
  • Develop an aggressive but achievable business plan that meets both the individual MLTM’s goals and drives the overall goals and strategies of Do it Best Group and its Multi-Store members.
  • Create a weekly schedule that exhibits the most efficient and effective use of the employees time, and best serves the members and Do it Best Group.
  • To represent Do it Best Group and its member partners with the upmost dignity and credibility at all times in accordance with Do it Best Group policies and standards.
  • To work with fellow Do it Best Group team members when appropriate, to assist in achieving the overall goals of the team.
  • To be highly educated in the merchandise programs of Do it Best Group and develop, implement and manage those programs for the benefit of the Multi-Store members and Do it Best Corp.
