Multi Instrumentalist Music Instructor at a Music School Part Time
About The Position
Bach to Bach to Rock Music School in Lincoln is seeking versatile Multi-Instrumentalist Music Instructors who can teach two or more instruments. This is a part-time position where instructors will teach private and semi-private lessons, work with students of all levels, build technique, musicianship, confidence, and performance skills, and help students learn music that motivates them while developing strong fundamentals. The role may also involve working with bands, ensembles, camps, or other Bach to Rock programs. Instructors will prepare students for performances and create an engaging, encouraging, and professional learning environment.
Requirements
- Proficiency in two or more instruments
- Strong overall musicianship
- Ability to connect with children, teens, and adults
- Dependable, energetic, positive, and professional
- Evening and/or Saturday availability is especially valuable
Nice To Haves
- Teaching experience preferred
- Excellent musicians with the personality and communication skills to become great teachers
- Versatility across musical styles is highly valued
- A music degree or current music study is a plus, but not required
