About The Position

Advant Solutions is seeking a Multi-Family Sales Estimator to join their Sales- Multi-Family department. This role is responsible for reading and deciphering plans, preparing take-offs, confirming specifications, and reviewing multi-family projects with the Sales Team and Director of Multi-Family Sales.   • Must be able to read and interpret Construction prints
  • Must be proficient in excel
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in door hardware or construction related field

Responsibilities

  • Read and decipher plans
  • Prepare take-offs
  • Confirm specifications
  • Review multi-family projects with the Sales Team and Director of Multi-Family Sales
  • Apply current pricing based on architectural drawings, landscape drawings, interior drawings and specifications for items such as residential door hardware, bath accessories, fire extinguishers, mirrors, wire shelving and mailboxes
  • Maintain detailed and organized records of bid documents, correspondence and other project specific information
  • Apply all costs to the quote template and keep record of quotes from suppliers
  • Assist with project submittals to ensure correct model numbers
  • Relay sales strategies for alternate products to the sales team
