About The Position

This role involves working under supervision to install heating, air conditioning, ventilation equipment, and other products according to company requirements and manufacturer specifications. The position includes testing systems, identifying and repairing issues, completing paperwork, and potentially performing system start-ups. The role also involves fabricating and installing ducts and duct fittings, and adhering to safety policies. Duties may vary by location.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn the HVAC trade.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate in English effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Beginner computing skills and able to use a computer, laptop or tablet.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to work overtime with little notice.
• Weekend hours may occasionally be required.

Nice To Haves

• HVAC trade school certification.
• Prior HVAC installation experience.
• EPA Certification.
• Willingness to learn and be a part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Install heating, air conditioning, ventilation equipment, and other products in accordance with company requirements and manufacturer specifications.
• Test systems to ensure proper functioning.
• Identify issues and perform required repairs to ensure all relevant components are working correctly and comply with standards.
• Complete all paperwork in a neat, accurate, thorough, and timely manner.
• Perform start-up on air conditioning systems as needed.
• Fabricate and install various ducts and duct fittings as required.
• Follow safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
