About The Position

POSITION SUMMARY: Work independently and with other plant personnel. Ensure maximum equipment efficiency and effectiveness. Be involved with equipment installations and facility maintenance. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide support to the manufacturing processes by repairing industrial equipment including electrical components, motors, pumps, hydraulic systems, HVAC, compressors, water systems chillers. Complete preventative maintenance tasks to ensure proper functioning of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Perform Kaizen activities. Manage their specific department’s Inventory. Input work with vendors for quotes and input PR Meet all other requirements as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Aptitude for skilled trade (mechanical, electrical, systems, controls, process)
• Ability to read, interpret and analyze electrical/mechanical schematics, block diagrams, ladder diagrams, and flow charts.
• Possess basic knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Possess electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic troubleshooting skills.
• Must be computer literate.
• Have a working knowledge and understanding of HAZMAT, MSDS, EPA, and OSHA requirements.
• Good time management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Must have good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with production staff.

Nice To Haves

• Automotive manufacturing experience desired.
• Industrial welding experience a plus.
