Multi-Craft Maintenance Tech
About The Position
This is a true multi-craft industrial maintenance position. It is not a grounds or facility maintenance position, nor is it a mechanic or electrical only job, a preventative maintenance only job, or an HVAC job. The role involves working the 2nd shift from 7pm to 7am on a 2-2-3 schedule, which includes working every other weekend. The pay range starts from $27.76 to $28.56 plus a $0.75 shift premium, with opportunities for pay increases to $33.76 or $36.96 as skills grow, and a top rate of $43.88 for a lead person. A $2000 sign-on bonus is offered, paid out over the first year of employment. The position is located at 3461 Wall Triana Hwy., SW Huntsville, AL 35824.
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age.
- High School Education and Post High School certification required.
- Maintenance Technical Certification REQUIRED from a technical college.
- At least 5 years of experience in the Mechanical Field.
- Formal and on-the-job training in electrical and basic electronics, AC/DC drives, PLC controllers, basic hydraulics and pneumatics.
- Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.
- Willingness to work overtime and as required weekends.
- Willingness to work a 2-2-3 shift with Saturday and Sunday being a standard work day.
- Ability to work from 7pm to 7am after proper training.
- Willingness to work in a non-climate controlled environment; exposed to heat and cold.
- Must pass pre-employment skills testing, post-offer background check, physical and drug screening.

- Corrugated Industry maintenance experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Perform multi-craft industrial maintenance tasks.
- Work a 2nd shift schedule (7pm - 7am) on a 2-2-3 rotation, including every other weekend.

- Make decisions and collaborate with Maintenance and Plant Supervisors to complete assigned tasks.
