Multi-Craft & Automation Maintenance

LaborupRogers, AR
$29 - $35Onsite

About The Position

We are seeking a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician to join our precision manufacturing and defense operation. This is a true multi-craft role—to be successful, you must be confident working across both mechanical and electrical disciplines, with strong troubleshooting instincts and the ability to work problems from symptoms to root cause. This role offers the chance to continually expand your skills across a diverse, highly automated production floor. You will maintain a unique mix of legacy and modern technology—from mechanical and hydraulic machinery to complex low-voltage, servo, and pneumatic systems. Expect daily, hands-on work with CNC mills and lathes, grinders, electric presses, robotic arms, and advanced vision systems. In this role, you will play a leading part in fixing machinery and maintaining uptime on the 3rd shift, making it a highly autonomous and impactful position.

Requirements

  • A proven ability to work "both sides of the house" (Electrical and Mechanical).
  • Proficient in troubleshooting sensors, motors, and control panels.
  • Experience with equipment teardowns, rebuilds, and power transmission systems.
  • A strong track record of attendance and a commitment to safety (LOTO).
  • High School Diploma or GED.

Nice To Haves

  • A 2 or 4-year Technical Degree
  • Ability to use PLCs as a diagnostic tool.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment; experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is a major plus.
  • Prior experience troubleshooting CNC machinery or robotics.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues quickly and safely; approach each problem with a structured mindset to restore equipment and prevent repeat failures.
  • Troubleshoot low-voltage controls, sensors, motors, starters, and relays. Support high-voltage troubleshooting and ensure all work meets safety and LOTO standards.
  • Repair and rebuild gearboxes, conveyors, and complex industrial machinery. Perform precision alignments and component replacements.
  • Perform hands-on troubleshooting of PLC-driven equipment. While our systems are specific, we need technicians who can navigate logic to identify hardware vs. software issues.
  • Maintain and repair high-use pumps, cylinders, valves, and actuators essential to our production uptime.
  • Provide specialized support and troubleshooting for CNC mills, lathes, and grinders (Experience is a plus; we will train the right multi-craft candidate).
  • Maintain and troubleshoot robotic arms, vision systems, and automated production cells.
  • Execute scheduled PMs within our SAP PM system, identifying and flagging wear-and-tear before it leads to a breakdown.
  • Log all work in SAP, manage spare parts inventory, and ensure a clean "Equipment Turnover" to the operations team after repairs.

Benefits

  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) retirement savings plan
  • Paid time off, holidays, and personal leave
