About The Position

Acuity, Inc. seeks dynamic, self-motivated individuals with experience as a Multi-Cloud Engineer to provide technical support to all of the customers' broadcast systems as a cloud engineer with programming responsibilities. This role involves leveraging expertise in IT Modernization, Data Enablement, and Hyperautomation to support federal agencies' critical missions. The company combines industry partnerships and long-term federal experience with innovative technical leadership.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of cloud-based networks with very high data security requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience with AWS and cloud services to include API configurations.
  • Demonstrated experience with programming languages including Python, Linux, C++, and Windows shell.
  • Demonstrated experience with operating systems such as Linux and Android.
  • Demonstrated experience with scripting languages such as Python, C++, and Perl.
  • Demonstrated experience with System Administration such as Linux RHEL, patching, server installs, firmware upgrades, and testing between firmware/patch levels.
  • Demonstrated experience with Cloud Engineering such as familiarity with media live, automating dynamo table updates, troubleshooting within the cloud platform, and providing input on troubleshooting toolsets.
  • TS/SCI w/Poly clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Demonstrated experience with analog and digital communications with Satellite, terrestrial TV, AM, and FM radio.
  • Demonstrated experience with video codecs and streaming technologies.
  • Demonstrated experience with video encoding equipment and processes.
  • Demonstrated experience with specific broadcast systems such as a specialized FM radio system and the Clients TV and radio signal devices such as scalable portable remote devices.
  • Demonstrated experience with IP network routing and switching.
  • Demonstrated experience performing installations, configuration, and operations of broadcast equipment.
