About The Position

Mastery Schools is a public charter network of 23 K-12 schools in Philadelphia and Camden, serving over 14,000 students. Our mission is to provide students with the academic and personal skills needed for success after graduation. We are committed to pursuing equity, disrupting systemic racism, and addressing disparities. Our culture is built on respect, service, and the belief that student, family, and community success drives our mission. We foster a positive, open, and inclusive environment that celebrates honesty, humor, and continuous improvement. The Multilingual Programs are designed with the belief that native language skills are an asset. Students receiving ELD services are taught social, instructional, and academic language across subjects and proficiency levels. ESL teachers work with multilingual learners to build language capacity, increase curriculum access, and bridge prior learning into English-instructed environments. Mastery values the linguistic and cultural diversity of English Learners, incorporating their literature and historical perspectives into the curriculum and school culture. This role offers opportunities for growth and impact, with training and support provided to ensure effectiveness. Team members are trusted to make decisions and held accountable for results, working in a positive, professional, joyful, student-centered, and welcoming environment.
