Griffon Aerospace is seeking a Multi-Axis Machine Operator & Programmer to support precision fabrication of aerospace and defense components. Requirements

Demonstrated experience operating and programming multi-axis CNC machining centers (3-axis minimum; 4/5-axis preferred)
Ability to develop and optimize CNC programs from engineering drawings and models
Proficiency in setup, tooling selection, fixturing, and work-holding for complex parts
Experience machining aluminum, steel, and other aerospace-grade alloys to tight tolerances
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T
Previous experience with hand and power tools
High School graduate or equivalent
Ability to stand for long periods working in a fast-paced environment
Must be able to lift 50lbs often and work standing up for a full 8-hour shift
US CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED
ABILITY TO OBTAIN SECURITY CLEARANCE

Nice To Haves

Experience with SURFCAM CAM software
Experience operating Mazak and/or Haas CNC machining centers
Experience with 5-axis machining operations
CAD experience (SolidWorks or similar)
Familiarity with aerospace or defense manufacturing environments
Experience with metrology equipment (CMM, digital gauging)
Technical/vocational training or associate degree preferred

Responsibilities
