About The Position
Navitas is hiring a MuleSoft Integration Developer to design, develop, and deploy scalable API-led integration solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. The role involves building and managing RESTful APIs, SOAP services, and integrations connecting enterprise applications, Salesforce, databases, and cloud platforms. The developer will work with cross-functional Agile teams to build secure, high-performance integrations, create automated MUnit tests, and support CI/CD deployments to CloudHub. The role also includes troubleshooting integration issues, optimizing application performance, and delivering reliable, scalable solutions. The developer will participate in API design, technical documentation, code reviews, and architecture discussions while following enterprise integration and security best practices. The position requires at least eight years of overall software development experience, including three or more years working with MuleSoft CloudHub and API Management, as well as MuleSoft Certified Developer Level 2 certification.
Requirements
- Eight or more years of overall professional software development experience.
- At least three years of hands-on experience with MuleSoft CloudHub and API Management.
- MuleSoft Certified Developer - Level 2 (MCD Level 2) certification.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience developing RESTful APIs, SOAP services, RAML, and API-led integrations.
- Strong knowledge of MuleSoft, DataWeave 2.0, Java, REST, JSON, XML, HTTP, and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
- Strong professional experience in Java, C++, or C#.
- Experience with MUnit, Maven, Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience deploying applications to CloudHub and monitoring application health.
- Experience working in Scrum or Kanban teams and estimating and delivering story points.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
- Must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain a government clearance.

- Experience with Groovy.
- Prior experience on the Salesforce platform.
- MuleSoft Developer or Integration Associate certification.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable API-led integration solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
- Build and manage RESTful APIs, SOAP services, and integrations connecting enterprise applications, Salesforce, databases, and cloud platforms.
- Orchestrate complex integrations across API-led System, Process, and Experience layers.
- Contribute as a developer on Scrum or Kanban teams, estimating and delivering story points.
- Develop enterprise services using RAML, REST-based APIs, and SOAP Web Services.
- Configure APIs, proxy endpoints, API portals, and API analytics in MuleSoft API Manager.
- Use standard and custom Mule connectors, including Salesforce, Database, HTTP/S, FTP, and Object Store connectors.
- Apply security policies such as OAuth, rate limiting, and throttling, and configure API Autodiscovery.
- Create automated MUnit unit and integration tests with high code coverage.
- Support CI/CD deployments to CloudHub and monitor application health using Anypoint Monitoring or CloudHub logs.
- Troubleshoot integration issues, perform root-cause analysis, debug flows in Anypoint Studio, and resolve mapping or connectivity errors.
- Optimize application performance and ensure reliable, scalable integrations.
- Maintain documentation for API specifications, mapping logic, and technical design notes.
- Participate in API design, code reviews, and architecture discussions.
