About The Position

Mariner is looking for a talented MuleSoft Integration Developer to join our Platform team. In this key role, you will architect, develop, and sustain integration layers that securely connect Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC) to our core financial planning platforms, custodians, and third-party data sources. As an essential part of our advisor ecosystem, you will help ensure seamless, reliable, and high-performance data flows that drive advisor and client engagement.

Requirements

3+ years of hands-on development experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform
Deep expertise in DataWeave 2.0 for advanced data transformations
Solid experience integrating with Salesforce (REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, Change Data Capture)
Strong foundation in API-led connectivity concepts (Experience, Process, System layers)
Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, JWT, and enterprise security implementations
Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines and deploying to CloudHub or on-prem Mule Runtime
Design and develop Slack integrations using Slack APIs, webhooks, Workflow Builder, and custom app development
Develop and maintain Slack-powered workflows that interface with Salesforce, Agentforce, Ashby, Oracle, and other business-critical systems
Create APIs and MCP-compatible services to enhance Agentforce and Slack user experiences
Implement Slack event subscriptions, slash commands, alert notifications, and workflow automations

Nice To Haves

MuleSoft Certified Developer (Level 1 or above)
Experience working in financial services or wealth management technology
Familiarity with the Salesforce FSC data model (Accounts, Financial Accounts, Relationships)
Understanding of financial industry data standards (FIX, ACORD, or APIs from custodians such as Pershing/Schwab/Fidelity)
Background integrating Agentforce or Salesforce Einstein is a plus
Proficient with Slack APIs, Bolt Framework, webhooks, and workflow automation
Experience building conversational UIs and bot integrations
Knowledge of MCP architecture and AI agent integration patterns
Demonstrated success integrating Slack with Salesforce and other enterprise SaaS platforms

Responsibilities

Design and develop integrations on MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (APIs, flows, connectors) linking Salesforce FSC with financial planning, portfolio management, and custodian systems
Build and maintain RESTful and SOAP APIs using RAML/OAS, applying best enterprise integration patterns
Implement robust error handling, retry mechanisms, monitoring, and alerting for mission-critical integration pipelines
Collaborate closely with FSC solution architects and platform product managers to interpret business requirements into integration solutions
Own the API lifecycle, including versioning, deprecation strategies, and documentation in Anypoint Exchange
Participate in code reviews, promote coding standards, and champion integration excellence
Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, performing root cause analysis for incidents
Coordinate with corporate IT to define and uphold integration ownership boundaries (e.g., Slack/FSC integration touchpoints)
Design and develop Slack integrations using Slack APIs, webhooks, Workflow Builder, and custom app development
Develop and maintain Slack-powered workflows that interface with Salesforce, Agentforce, Ashby, Oracle, and other business-critical systems
Collaborate with the Slack Administrator to select, implement, and support Slack applications and automations
Create APIs and MCP-compatible services to enhance Agentforce and Slack user experiences
Implement Slack event subscriptions, slash commands, alert notifications, and workflow automations
Influence the architecture of AI-driven workflows spanning Slack, Agentforce, Salesforce, and additional enterprise platforms
